The Visual Agency — 10th Anniversary Book
At Parco Studio, we designed the 10th anniversary book for The Visual Agency, an information design agency specialized in communicating complexity and visualising data.

Slanted 36.coexist
My work is featured in the 36th Edition of Slanted.
COEXIST—to live or exist together, in peace, at the same time, or in the same place. The first time in our lives the world is changing fundamentally. We need to rethink what all this is about. Higher, faster, and further at the expense of others cannot point the way to the future. We need to question ourselves, how we want to coexist, show consideration, and take a step back.

Media Manipulation in an Age of Deepfakes
Thesis project with Thomas Mayfried and Martin Fengel
Ever since humans understood that it is possible to gain personal profit from passing on information in an altered way, information has been manipulated.
We arrived at a point where almost everything can be faked. In 2017 «deepfakes» reached the mainstream media, when a video of Barack Obama is showing a speech of him which he never held. Deepfakes, composed of the words «deep learning» and «fake» are synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else’s likeness. Voices, motions and facial expressions can be modified to the point where the viewer can’t tell its authenticity. Through deepfakes, the line between real and fake media is getting increasingly blurred.
Distrust against politics continues to grow and if misinformation reaches a point where it becomes uncontrollable it can seriously harm our democracies. To guide our way into a more open-minded future, we need to constantly adapt our media skills. The project explores credibility through notions of reality and attempts to decode misinformation and conspiracies. A fictional narrative that plays with humour and clichés invites the viewer to question our approach to news media.

The books were presented at the 'Milano Art Book Fair' at the BASE Milano.
Mut zur wut - international Poster Competition
The political poster is experiencing a revival: the poster festival «Mut zur Wut» has gained international relevance in just a few years, resulting in more than 3100 submissions from 66 countries every year.
Down below my submission for the competition which made it to the top 100. «Es gibt keine Politik. Nur Wirtschaft» is German and means: Politics doesn't exist. Only Economy
With this phrase I want to raise awareness of the rising lobbyism which is the root of the EU Copyright law (Article 13) that passed in March 2019.
The poster was exhibited in the Court House of the City of Heidelberg and was displayed in the 2019 catalogue.
Sans Paroles
With this project, I wanted to make people think and to reflect on the topic by themselves. I wanted to confront a very delicate local affair.
South Tyrol went from Austria to Italy after the First World War and not everyone was happy with it. It still creates lots of discussions and it formed the people, the architecture and the whole region to what it is today.
Although we were united over 100 years ago there is still a visible and feelable separation between the german and Italian presence.
I do not want to be critical about either part. Both sides have to be displayed equally in terms of visual language.
Under supervision of: Thomas Mayfried, Emmanuela de Cecco and Andrea Facchetti
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark – Enola Gay
Typographic Interpretation of OMD's hitsong Enola Gay. Brand and merchandise designed for a fictional recordlabel.
Sound & Vision Project at University of the West of England together with Maria Berlanga and Naima Gaetani.
Leopold
«Leopold» is the name of the outcome of my first product design semester at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano with Kuno Prey as project leader and together with the social design manufacture Side by side.
The space optimised desktop organiser for students, office workers and artists has room for all your desk utensils. Closing the lid hides all the utensils and makes your desk look tidy. The lid also acts as a paper tray which can be taken off and used as writing support. I also decided to implement a little secret drawer where precious items can be stored.
Leopold was fully handmade in ash-wood in our university workshops.
The project was featured at the 'SIDE BY SIDE - soziales design sociale' exhibition in Bozen, 2019.
Onyon
«Onyon» is paper, produced only by the skin of the onion. The goal was to create a useful material with waste. Onion skins are usually being thrown away right after it was peeled off the onion and nobody ever uses it. In the future, our resources will be limited so we have to think of sustainable and eco-friendly solutions in every possible way. Almost every second industrially felled tree worldwide is processed into paper - newspapers, magazines, gift wrapping paper, packaging, kitchen towels or toilet paper.
The onion skin has to be cooked and mixed in water before getting processed to paper. Not only the skin can be used but also the water, in which the skin was cooked. Only after 10 minutes of cooking the water gets a reddish brown colour. Together with gum arabic, a natural resin, ink can be produced.
